Hello Y'all!

My name is Rachel, and I'm from Somerville, Tennessee. I'm so excited for this opportunity and glad you stopped by!

I fell in love with missions in high school after I went on two mission trips- one to Joplin, MO and one to Ponce, Puerto Rico. And then the summer after my junior year of college, I was able to work with a mission organization in NYC.ย The semester before working in NYC, I studied abroad in the United Kingdom. That semester I fell in love with international travel and getting to broaden my view of God's creation. Together these experiences have encouraged my desire to work with international ministry.

I am a Lee University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an International Emphasis. I currently work at my home church, but I'm still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

Some fun facts about me:ย

  • I love bacon
  • It's my dream to go to Antarctica, but I hate the cold
  • I'm a huge fan of the Olympics (Bobsledding is my favorite competition)
  • All out 80's is my most played Spotify playlist
  • My favorite ice cream sundae creation includes goldfish, marshmallows and chocolate syrup

I can't wait to see what God has in store for us over the next year and a half. I hope you'll join me on this journey, and please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions/comments!
